Sudeley became the home of Katherine Parr, the sixth and final wife of Henry VIII after the death of Henry. She married Thomas Seymour and made this her family home.
Queen Elizabeth I also spent a significant amount of time here with her step-mother Catherine Parr.
Catherine Parr sadly died in childbirth, but is still here and her resting place in the church of St.Mary on the Sudeley Estate grounds.
